Rustic in character and atmosphere, our restaurant and bar with spectacular views is the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious meal or a wee dram of whisky overlooking Loch Glencoul.

We collaborate with local suppliers in our restaurant at Newton Lodge to create exciting and authentic dishes which we evolve as the seasons change or as we discover fresh new ingredients, many of which are found right on our doorstep. Whether it’s a stop off to grab a quick but tasty bite to eat or a long leisurely meal to take in the spectacular views, everyone is welcome.

We cater for all dietary requirements and offer vegan options. We are dog friendly too!

We are open Tuesday to Saturday for dinner from 6.00pm to 8.00pm, last sitting is 7.45pm.
Our Bar is open from 3pm to 10pm, Tuesday to Saturday.

Staying with us on Sunday and Monday evenings? We offer an option to dine at our sister property, Kylesku Hotel, and provide a complimentary shuttle service (must be pre-booked via reservations). Shuttle times: depart Newton Lodge at 1745hrs and return at 2100hrs.

Newton Lodge Bar No 4 and Deck

Whether you're soaking up the sunshine or stargazing on a crisp evening, our outdoor seating offers the perfect setting. Open to locals and visitors alike, you might even share a story with a friendly face or two. With tables outside, you can relax and take in the stunning scenery in every season.

Local community

We welcome the local community to our restaurant with a view with a 30% discount off all food and drink, seven days a week. Pull up a seat, make yourself known to our lovely staff and we’ll make sure you are well looked after.

Dining at Kylesku Hotel

We are also happy to book a table for guests with our fellow Highland Coast Hotels family member, Kylesku Hotel. Just a few minutes away, Kylesku Hotel offers an award-winning Scottish restaurant with wonderful fresh seafood on the menu. Tables must be pre-booked so please let us know in advance and we can arrange this for you. Please note, if you require the complimentary shuttle service, please ensure this is pre-booked with our reservations team.
