Welcome the New Year in true Highland style. Our Hogmanay Gala Dinner promises an unforgettable evening of fine food, warm hospitality, and joyful celebration on Scotland’s Highland coastline.

Begin your night with a glass of bubbles before indulging in a five-course gala menu, thoughtfully crafted using the best local and seasonal produce. As midnight approaches, enjoy live entertainment with accomplished violinist Emily Birse, and raise a glass to 2025 with friends old and new.

Set against the sound of the sea and the spirit of the Highlands, it's a Hogmanay worth savouring.

Emily Birse - Violinist

This New Year’s Eve, Emily will perform her own takes on pop, jazz, and festive favourites for us at the Tongue Hotel.

Emily began playing violin at eight and trained at the Royal Northern College of Music. Now based in North East Scotland, she enjoys a busy performing and teaching career, appearing with ensembles such as the RSNO, BBC Philharmonic, London Contemporary Orchestra, Ulster Orchestra, and Scottish Ballet.

She performs widely across genres, including with the Grampian String Quartet for Fever’s Candlelight concerts and with groups like Ministry of Sound Classical, Gatecrasher Classical, and Down for the Count Swing Orchestra. This New Year’s Eve, Emily will perform her own takes on pop, jazz, and festive favourites at the Tongue Hotel in the Scottish Highlands.

Online bookings (up to 7 guests):

Subject to availability. £20.00 deposit per person at time of booking (non-refundable). The balance must be paid four weeks prior to the event date.

Tickets cancelled up to two weeks before the event will be offered a 50% refund on ticket cost, less deposit and booking fees.

Cancellations within two weeks of the event will not be eligible for a refund.

Bookings for tables (of 8 or more people): please call the hotel to book.

A non-refundable deposit of £20.00 per person will be taken at time of booking, with balance due 4 weeks prior to the event.

A full refund, less deposit and booking fees, will be offered on fully pre-paid tickets - either tables or individual places - cancelled up to four weeks before the event.

Tickets cancelled up to two weeks before the event will be offered a 50% refund on ticket cost, less deposit and booking fees.

Cancellations within two weeks of the event will not be eligible for a refund.
