Reay Golf Club
Visit Scotland’s Northernmost 18-Hole Links
A true hidden gem along the North Coast 500, Reay Golf Club offers a memorable round of golf in one of the most remote and spectacular coastal settings in the UK.
As the most northerly 18-hole links course on the British mainland, Reay combines natural beauty with historic significance. Renowned golf course architect Donald Steele once said, “In a different location, it would enjoy worldwide acclaim.” But it's the location — wild, windswept, and stunningly beautiful — that makes Reay so distinctive.
A Rich Golfing Heritage
Reay is one of only seven clubs in the North of Scotland to have been designed in full or in part by legendary golf course architect James Braid. In 1933, 40 years after the club’s founding, Braid left his mark on this natural links layout, helping shape what is now regarded as one of the Highlands’ most characterful courses.
